Page title: Terms and Conditions · Shopify slug: terms-of-service

1. Scope

(1) These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") lay out the framework for all transactions carried out through the online shop at ryvora.com between the operator of ryvora.com (hereinafter "RYVORA", "we", "us") and the buyer (hereinafter "you", "Buyer"). Our assortment covers goods in the home and garden categories.

(2) A consumer for the purposes of these Terms is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly unconnected to any commercial or self-employed professional activity. A business buyer is any natural or legal person, or partnership with legal capacity, who acts in the exercise of their trade or independent professional capacity at the time the contract is formed.

(3) Any deviating, conflicting or supplementary terms and conditions submitted by the Buyer shall only be incorporated into the agreement where their applicability has been explicitly confirmed by us in writing.

2. Contracting Party and Contact

The sale contract is concluded between you and the operator of RYVORA. Full provider details can be found on our Legal Notice page.

3. Conclusion of Contract

(1) The presentation of our home and garden goods in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer; it functions solely as a non-binding online catalogue.

(2) By clicking the "Buy" / "Place order" / "Pay now" button, you submit a binding offer to acquire the items held in your shopping basket.

(3) Acknowledgement of receipt and acceptance of your order are issued simultaneously — you will receive both immediately after placing your order by means of an automatically generated email. Upon despatch of that confirmation email, the sale contract becomes legally binding.

(4) We retain the contract text and forward it to you together with these Terms by email. The Terms currently in force are accessible at any time at ryvora.com/terms-of-service.

(5) Contracts are concluded in the English language.

4. Prices and Shipping Costs

(1) All prices stated on the website include the applicable statutory Value Added Tax. Any delivery charges are displayed separately during the checkout process.

(2) For shipments to destinations outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, customs duties, local taxes and other levies may be applied; these are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

(3) Comprehensive details of delivery charges and estimated shipping windows are set out on our Shipping & Payment page.

5. Payment Terms

(1) The following payment methods are accepted: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer. We reserve the right to exclude individual methods in specific circumstances.

(2) The full purchase price becomes due upon conclusion of the contract.

(3) Where payment is made by credit card or PayPal, your account will be charged immediately upon completion of the order.

6. Delivery

(1) Goods are sent to the delivery address provided by the Buyer. The applicable delivery windows are indicated on each product page and throughout the checkout process.

(2) Should delivery remain impossible after three attempts, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Any sums already received will be refunded to you without delay.

(3) In the event of delays attributable to force majeure, the delivery period will be extended proportionately. We will keep you informed of any such developments as swiftly as possible.

7. Retention of Title

All goods delivered remain our property until the full purchase price has been received.

8. Right of Cancellation for Consumers

Consumers hold a statutory right of withdrawal. Full cancellation details and the model withdrawal form are available on our Cancellation Policy page.

9. Warranty and Liability for Defects

(1) The statutory provisions on defect liability apply. For consumers, the limitation period for defect-related claims is two years from the date of delivery.

(2) For second-hand goods, this period is reduced to one year from the delivery date.

(3) Should any delivered item arrive in a defective condition, please contact us at contact@ryvora.com.

10. Liability

(1) We accept unlimited liability in cases of intent and gross negligence, and within the scope of applicable consumer protection legislation.

(2) In cases of ordinary negligence, our liability is confined to breach of a fundamental contractual obligation — one whose fulfilment is indispensable to the proper execution of the contract and upon which the Buyer may legitimately rely. In such cases, liability is capped at foreseeable, contract-typical loss.

(3) Liability for injury to life, limb or health is unaffected by the above.

11. Dispute Resolution

(1) The European Commission maintains an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

(2) We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

(1) The contractual relationship is governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. In relation to consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of habitual residence is not thereby removed.

(2) Where the Buyer is a merchant, a body corporate under public law or a public-law special fund, the courts at our registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising from this relationship.

13. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these Terms be or become wholly or partially void, the validity of the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected. The relevant statutory rule shall stand in place of any invalid provision.
